Sarah's Birth Story

I have always been 100% for home births, so when we found out we were pregnant I knew exactly what I wanted to do for the birth. I knew I wanted Claudette to be my midwife. My labor was very long and hard, so I knew that if I had been in the hospital I would’ve ended up with a C-section. I was in labor for 36 hours, and pushed for 2 ½ hours. It was tough, but I never gave up. I had all my family here supporting me, which was helpful. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. --Sarah A.
